Referral System is an affiliate marketing extension for your WooCommerce store. Market your products by pairing a user referral and a discount to increase customer retention and improve customer acquisition — without the costs of traditional marketing channels like direct advertising.

Referral System extension also takes advantage of WooCommerce’s Points and Rewards extension to let registered customers earn points by recommending discounted products to their own networks of friends and family.

Features

Offer discounts based on fixed pricing or percentage of sales

Out of the box, Referral System is designed so you can set referrals payout amounts based on either fixed prices or percentages. This functionality comes with its fair share of sub-functions:

• Select Discount Type: Choose either a fixed price or percentage for your coupon. 
• Coupon Option: Trigger reward functionalities on your coupon for both the referrer and the referee. You can set the coupon percentage (or pricing, if you have set the Discount Type to Fixed Price).
  • Referrer coupon: Set the coupon price or percentage for referrer on purchase.
  • Referee coupon: Set the coupon price or percentage of the purchase.

• Purchase Options: Specify the discount the referrer will receive when a referee purchases a product. You can set the coupon percentage (or pricing if you have set the Discount Type to Fixed Price).
  • Referrer coupon: Set the coupon price or percentage for referrer on purchase.
  • Referee coupon: Set the coupon price or percentage of the purchase.

• Referral System: Configure the name of your slug, its type, the cookie expiry date, and the redirect URL. 
• Slug Type: Specify whether to send the referral link with your name or the ID. 
• Slug Name: If you select the name option from the first step, this field allows you to set the name of the slug. 
• Cookie Expiration: Set the number of day(s) after which the cookies expire for a particular visitor. 
• Redirect to Page: Select the page you want the referral link redirects to.
  

Integrate with WooCommerce Points and Rewards

Integrate WooCommerce’s Points and Rewards extension with Referral System to overrides the percentage and pricing functionality and offer referral discounts based on points system.

Once activated, the extension will redirect you to the Points Settings page, where you’ll find the following functionalities:

• Signup Points: Set the number of points awarded to referrers and the referees after a successful referral.

• Purchase Points: Set the number of points to be awarded to both the referrer and the referee after a successful purchase.

• Points Settings: Set the conversion rates from currency to points. Get fine-grained control with options for rounding figures up, down, or to the nearest integer; setting redemption conversion rates; setting a number of maximum points; and specifying point expiration dates.

• Product / Cart / Checkout Messages: Customize messages for your Product, Variable Product, Checkout, Coupon Redemption, and Thank You pages.

• Points Earned for Actions: Give customers the opportunity to earn points for actions like creating an account or writing a product review. You can set the number of points customers will receive for each action.
